A video shared on Twitter by Wildlife SOS shows glimpses of the rescue operation of the leopard and it will definitely make you smile.

Sometimes wild animals find themselves in tough spots and need some assistance. A poor leopard found itself in such a situation when it fell into a 50-feet-deep well in Maharashtra. However, the big cat was rescued just in time by alert forest officials and a team from Wildlife SOS.

A video shared on Twitter by Wildlife SOS shows glimpses of the rescue operation and it will definitely make you smile. The clip starts with a shot of the leopard stuck in the well. Since the well still had some water, the animal was almost on the verge of drowning. However, the team of rescuers from Wildlife SOS reached the spot promptly. Along with the help of Forest Department officials, the team lowered a cage into the well and rescued the leopard.

"Wildlife SOS & the Forest Department performed a rescue operation to save a drowning leopard from a 50-feet-deep open well in Maharashtra. A trap cage was lowered to safely extricate the leopard. After ensuring he had sustained no injuries, he was released back into the wild," read the caption.

The clip has garnered over 3,000 views and tons of reactions. People wholeheartedly thanked the team for rescuing the leopard. Many also requested the authorities to close the open well so that other wild animals don't fall inside.
