Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6. Several throwback videos of the legendary singer are going viral on the web. We came across a throwback video of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle sharing the stage together, engrossed in a beautiful conversation. That's when Lata Mangeshkar said, “Asha meri behen hain. Mujhse chaar saal choti hain aur hamesha mujhe tang kiya hain. Par main hamesha maaf karti hoon isko (Loosely translated to: Asha is my sister. She is younger than me by 4 years and always troubles me. But I always forgive her).”

To this, Asha Bhosle, who was standing near her, replied, “Karna hi padega maaf toh (Loosely translated to: You have to forgive her).” Lata Mangeshkar further added, “Nahi, maaf toh karna hi padta hain (Loosely translated to: One has to forgive).” Asha Bhonsle replied, “Maa maaf karti hain aur kaun karta hain maaf (A mother always forgives).”
