Raju Varghese has been appointed additional director general of All India Radio and Doordarshan. He will be in charge of west zone that includes Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa. He was serving as deputy director general of AIR and Doordarshan in Kerala.
