Internet is divided over Julia Fox’s ‘peculiar’ comment on Amber Heard-Johnny Depp case

Julia Fox's comment about the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard lawsuit left netizens stunned.

Julia Fox has caused quite a stir on the Internet with her comment regarding the highly publicised case involving Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Julia took to Instagram to reply to a post about the ongoing defamation lawsuit slapped on Heard by Depp. The case has already divided the internet into two sections and with Julia’s comment a lot of fuel was added to the fire.

It all started when Julia Fox commented on a post about the case. “She never had the power in the relationship to be abusive to him. Did she hit him? Yes. Was it abuse? No. You need to have power to be able to abuse it. She was 25. He clearly was always way more powerful, including physically and financially,” she wrote.

Within a short span of time, the comment went viral on Twitter.

While one section of Twitter appreciated Julia for taking Heard’s side, a large part of the micro-blogging site blasted her for her odd comment. Many pointed out how Julia’s comment overshadowed the abuse Depp faced.
