A tsunami warning was issued in Indonesia after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit the nation on Tuesday.
An earthquake of 7.7 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the Flores Sea area in Indonesia. Indonesia has issued a tsunami warning after the powerful quake near Flores Island.
In May this year, an earthquake of magnitude 6.6 struck off the northwest coast of Indonesia's Sumatra island on Friday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
