Indian Idol 12 evicted contestant Anjali Gaikwad reacts to Amit Kumar's controversy

Anjali Gaikwad, who was recently evicted from Indian Idol 12 due to less votes, opened up on the controversy regarding Amit Kumar. The singer said that the contestants never felt disheartened as they respected his opinion.

Indian Idol 12 recently saw the eviction of Anjali Gaikwad in the weekend episode. She was evicted due to lesser votes. The young singer has now responded to the criticims regarding the singing reality show and Amit Kumar's statement about stopping the episode in between, where he was a guest. Amit Kumar had claimed that he was asked to praise the contestants even when they didn't sing well. In a new interview, Anjali Gaikwad said that none of the contestants were offended by Amit Kumar’s comments. Talking to ETimes, Anjali Gaikwad said, “We were not disheartened when Amit Kumar ji said that he did not enjoy the episode and our singing. It is his opinion and he was our guest. We have to respect him. We respect his opinion and we have taken his suggestions. We have noted his suggestions and we are working on it. It was his opinion and everyone is entitled to give their opinion. We have just tried to improve our singing.”
