ICTPL sets a new record by loading 19,150 MT of manganese ore at Vizag Port, surpassing previous achievements.
The Integrated Cargo Terminal Pvt. Ltd. (ICTPL) on Wednesday announced a record-breaking performance in bulk cargo handling.
On March 11, 2026, the terminal loaded a staggering 19,150 Metric Tonnes (MT) of manganese ore onto the vessel M.V. MEGHNA LIBERTY at the West Quay-6 (WQ-6) berth of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority.
The operation recorded an impressive average hook output of 1,596 MT, effectively eclipsing the previous record of 17,193 MT set on November 18, 2025, while loading on the M.V. THEODARA.
The seamless execution of this record-setting operation was a result of tight coordination between multiple maritime stakeholders, said Mr. Jitin Singh Kampani, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of ICTPL.
M/s Navship Marine Services represented the vessel, ensuring all maritime protocols were met.
