Hope Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 brings audiences to theatre for Hindi films, says producer Bhushan Kumar | Exclusive

Ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's release, Bhushan Kumar said that he hopes that his film will bring back audiences to cinemas for Hindi films. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 releases on May 20.

Producers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani have taken the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise forward with its second part. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been directed by Anees Bazmee and it is all set to release tomorrow (May 20) in cinemas. Ahead of the film's release, IndiaToday.in exclusively interviewed the producers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In a conversation with us, Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani spoke about having 'sleepless nights' ahead of the release.

Just a day ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's release, Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani are both nervous. And it is because people have high expectations from the Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer.

Talking about his current state of mind, Bhushan Kumar said, "Normally, we do so many releases. But this time, after the pandemic, films are not performing to that extent at the Bollywood box office. And with the kind of response we are getting to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the kind of advance we have got, the curiosity that is there in the public, there is pressure. This time, I and Murad bhai are nervous about the kind of numbers that people are expecting. The whole industry is expecting from film. We want to deliver that. That is giving us sleepless nights."

Though there's pressure on the entire team to deliver a good film, Bhushan Kumar is hoping that the film should open with great box office numbers.
