Honey Singh firstly made headlines for his OOTN (outfit of the night) at IIFA Rocks 2022 on June 3. The singer-rapper rocked the stage with his power-packed performances. In fact, Sara Ali Khan, while walking the green carpet, told us that she is really excited about Honey’s performance. Apart from Yo Yo’s energy, there’s something else from the IIFA stage last night that is making headlines. During the course of his performance, Honey Singh bowed before AR Rahman, touched his feet and went back to his act again.
Honey Singh performed to many of his hit tracks last night. Before entering the IIFA stage, the singer told us how devastated he is with Sidhu Moose Wala and KK’s demise. Later, Honey Singh owned the IIFA Rocks stage with some of his hit tracks. The singer, midway through his performance, went towards AR Rahman seated on the front, bowed before him and touched his feet. Before turning towards the stage yet again, the rapper shook AR Rahman’s hand.
The Lungi Dance singer reshared the video on his Instagram stories and wrote, "Moment of my life with @arrahman sir (sic)."
Speaking to us straight from the IFFA Rocks 2022 green carpet, Honey Singh said, “Bohot dukh hua hain dono ki maut ka sunn ke. Specially Sidhu ka toh bohot hi shocking tha. Sach mein bataun, 3-4 din tak dimaag nahi chala ki ho kya gaya hain Sidhu ke sath. He was a very very sweet boy. Bohot hi amazing artiste tha. Bohot bada loss hua hain industry ko, KK and Sidhu Moose Wala se” (Loosely translated: Extremely saddened by the news of their passing. Especially Sidhu Moose Wala, it was too shocking. To tell you the truth, my mind wasn’t working for 3-4 days thinking about what happened to Sidhu. He was an amazing artiste. KK and Sidhu Moose Wala’s demise is a huge loss to the industry).
