Here's when Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan will start shooting their much-awaited film Fighter

Two of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood - Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, have collaborated for the first time for a film. They will be seen sharing screen space with each other in Siddharth Anand's Fighter. The film was announced in 2021 on Hrithik Roshan's birthday. It is scheduled for release on January 26, 2023. Amid all this, IndiaToday.in has exclusively learnt when Hrithik and Deepika will commence Fighter's shoot.
A source close to the development spilled the beans about Fighter's shoot and revealed why it was delayed. "Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan's Fighter shoot will begin in June, 2022. Both Hrithik and Deepika will be getting in their best shape physically for this film. There's a lot of action involved. Since the lockdown restrictions have eased, the film will be shot all around the world.The film's shoot was delayed because of Covid-19 and due to Hrithik and Deepika's prior work commitments," the source said.
On January 10, 2021, Hrithik Roshan shared the first glimpse of Fighter, to be directed by Siddharth Anand. Sharing the glimpse on Twitter, Hrithik wrote, "Presenting a glimpse of the MARFLIX vision as #Fighter! Looking forward to my first flight alongside the exceptional @deepikapadukone. All buckled up for this #SiddharthAnand joyride (sic)."

Deepika Padukone has four other films lined up apart from Fighter. She will be seen in The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan, Project K with Prabhas and Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The actress also has an untitled film with Madhu Mantena. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan will be seen alongside Saif Ali Khan in Vikram Vedha. Directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, the film is scheduled for release on September 30, 2022.
