A video that has emerged online from one of the metro stations in Kyiv shows children playing. The video was shared by Oleksandra Matviichuk, Head of the Center for Civil Liberties (Ukraine), on Twitter on Tuesday.
A heartbreaking video that has emerged online from one of the metro stations in Kyiv, which is being used as a bomb shelter by many Ukrainians currently, has left everyone teary-eyed. The video shows children in the metro station finding joy in the little things in life. Children can be seen playing in the underground bomb shelter. The video was posted by Oleksandra Matviichuk, Head of the Center for Civil Liberties (Ukraine), on Twitter on Tuesday.
In the video, children can be seen using a slanted platform at the station as a slide and gliding down it. They can be seen all smiles as they enjoy the little things that life has to offer in the underground bomb shelter. “Childhood in the Kyiv metro, which residents of capital use as a bomb shelter #StandWithUkraine (sic),” the video caption reads.

The heartbreaking video left many Twitter users teary-eyed. While some talked about the futility of war, others wrote about the privileged section of society. “In America, many children have everything. And they complain they are bored. They might take a peek at how these Ukrainian kids entertain themselves living underground. You don’t need a lot to play (sic),” a user wrote.

Leon Panetta said Iran war was not an unexpected risk. He pointed out that for years, US security officials have known Iran could disrupt global oil supplies by blocking the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, this was a well-known danger, but one that appears to have been overlooked in the current conflict.
