Notice to five islanders to vacate homesteads
The High Court on Saturday restrained the Lakshadweep administration from taking action till July 23 against five islanders who had been issued show-cause notices for vacating their homesteads. Justice Sunil Thomas issued the order at a special sitting held on Saturday. The petition was filed by Kadeesha P. and four others from Suheli island challenging the show-cause notice issued on July 5. The court also asked the petitioners to appear before the authority to make their submissions.More Related News

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
