As Russia declared war against Ukraine, Indian celebs took to social media to voice their opinion. Actress Gauahar Khan prayed for the ives of innocent people.
Ukrainian forces battled Russian invaders on three sides on Thursday, February 24, after Moscow unleashed the biggest attack on a European state since World War Two, which prompted tens of thousands of people to flee their homes. Many celebs took to social media to voice their opinion on the Ukraine crisis. Gauahar Khan also reacted to the Russia-Ukraine war.
Earlier, Tillotama Shome and Richa Chadha reacted to the Russia-Ukraine war. Gauahar Khan took to her Instagram stories to shared her thoughts on the war. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that the 27-bloc Nato was scared to let his country into the global body. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called Russian President Vladimir Putin to urge for a peaceful solution to the crisis. Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that 4,000 out of 20,000 Indians living in Ukraine have been evacuated.
