Aster Prime Hospital offers free medical camp for SR Nagar Police Station staff, emphasizing importance of self-care for officers.
Aster Prime Hospital organised a free medical camp for the staff of SR Nagar Police Station on Saturday. The camp offered a range of basic health screenings, including tests for weight, height, blood pressure, blood sugar, haemoglobin levels and eye examinations. Following doctors’ advice, some personnel also underwent additional tests such as ECG, 2D Echo and cancer screening.
Around 100 police personnel, including SR Nagar ACP A. Bala Gangi Reddy, took part in the camp and made use of the healthcare services provided. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Devanand, CEO of Aster Prime Hospital, highlighted the importance of self-care among police officers who work relentlessly for public welfare. He noted that many police personnel are unable to find time for even basic exercise due to their demanding schedules and stressed the need for comprehensive health check-ups at least once a year to ensure overall well-being, said a release.
