The Producers Guild of India and Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) on Monday criticised the attack on filmmaker Prakash Jha and his crew while they were filming the third season of the series "Aashram" in Bhopal and said the government must take an action on such "brazen acts of violence."

The series features actor Bobby Deol in the lead as Baba Nirala, a conman.

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
