Pradeep Mehra, 19, has become an internet sensation after his video of running from work to home at midnight went viral online on Monday. The video was posted on Twitter by filmmaker Vinod Kapri and featured Pradeep’s inspiring story about joining the army.

Speaking to reporters outside the Noida sector 16 outlet of McDonald’s, Pradeep said, “Many people called me to join the army. But I don’t think we can get into the army so easily. I have been preparing to join the army for quite a long time.”

On being asked about his family, Pradeep said, “My mother is being treated at a hospital for over a month. My brother and I are the only earning members in our family.”
