Drunk man from Haryana dials emergency number 112 to check if cops show up. Viral video

The 42-year-old man, identified as Naresh Kumar of Tapriya village of Raipurrani, totally surprised the police men who reported to the spot in response to the call for help.

In a bizarre incident in Haryana, a man got so intoxicated with alcohol that he called the emergency helpline of Haryana Police. The drunk man called 112, which is the emergency helpline number of the police, in the middle of the night. The incident occurred at Raipurrani in Panchkula.

The 42-year-old man, identified as Naresh Kumar of Tapriya village of Raipurrani, totally surprised the police men who reported to the spot in response to the call for help. When the police reached him, the man said that he wanted to see whether the police car had come or not. The police have also made a video of this incident which is now becoming swiftly viral.

“After drinking, the public remembers the police. When the police car was not seen for two days, a man called them on the phone,” Pankaj Nain wrote in the caption.

In the viral video, a police officer can be seen asking Naresh the reason for calling 112. Naresh Kumar, said, “The train at five o'clock in the evening was not coming. I was walking and didn't see any cars. So I wanted to call and see whether the police were working or not.”

The police personnel asked the man why he was drinking. The police then explained to him that the person only needs to call 112 in case of distress and within 15 to 20 minutes the police will reach him for help.
