Deepika Padukone is being praised for her performance in Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about the best and worst pieces of advice she got from people. Deepika recalled the worst one being someone recommending her to get breast implants when she was just 18 years old.
Deepika Padukone-starrer Gehriayaan was released on Amazon Prime Video on February 11. The film has received a mixed response from critics and the audience alike. While speaking to Filmfare, Deepika spoke about the best and the worst pieces of advice that she has received.
"Shah Rukh (Khan) gives good advice and I got a lot from him. One of the most valuable pieces of advice I got from him was to always work with people you know you are going to have a good time with, because while you are making a movie you are also living life, making memories and creating experiences. The worst advice I received was to get breast implants. I was all of 18 and I often wonder how I had the wisdom to not take it seriously," she said.
Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan collaborated for the first time for Siddharth Anand's Fighter. The film was announced in 2021 on Hrithik Roshan's birthday. It is scheduled for release on January 26, 2023. A source close to the development spilled the beans about Fighter's shoot and revealed why it was delayed. "Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan's Fighter shoot will begin in June, 2022. Both Hrithik and Deepika will be getting in their best shape physically for this film. There's a lot of action involved. Since the lockdown restrictions have eased, the film will be shot all around the world.The film's shoot was delayed because of Covid-19 and due to Hrithik and Deepika's prior work commitments," the source said.
Deepika Padukone’s latest film, Gehraiyaan, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The actress has Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan, Fighter which is going to be Indian cinema's first action franchise with Hrithik Roshan, in the pipeline. She has also been roped in for The Intern’s Bollywood remake.
