Observing that attending classes has no purpose or meaning unless students are provided with textbooks, the High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday directed the State government to ensure supply of textbooks to students of classes 9 and 10 and submit a status report on progress made by August 30. A Division bench, comprising Justice B.V. Nagarathna and Justice P. Krishna Bhat issued direction, while hearing a PIL petition filed by A.A. Sanjeev Narrain and two others last year seeking direction to ensure continuity of education to the children through online mode.More Related News
The High Court of Karnataka on Friday directed the State government to file its statement of objections on an application filed by Bangalore Turf Club Ltd.
