A Chinese rocket disintegrated over Malaysia and lighted up the night sky before falling in the Indian Ocean. Watch the video here
A social media user captured on video a Chinese rocket lighting up the sky as it disintegrated over Malaysia’s Kuching city. The Long March-5B Y3 rocket was launched on July 24 but fell back to Earth on Saturday and landed in the Indian Ocean.
The Twitter user captioned the video as “Meteor spotted in Kuching!” and shows the rocket racing across the sky before it burned in the atmosphere.

The US Space Command confirmed the rocket's disintegration and said the Long March 5B rocket re-entered over the Indian Ocean at approximately 12:45 pm EDT on Saturday.
