Child dead in wall collapse during heavy rains in Belagavi

A three-year-old girl died when a wall collapsed on her in Gokak in Belagavi district of Karnataka on May 26 morning.
Keerti Nagesh Patil, 3, died when a wall of her house partially collapsed due to heavy rains in Mahalingeshwar Colony in Gokak town. She was sleeping with her elder sister when the rains began.
The elder sister ran to her parents, who were sleeping in another room, to seek help. But they could not rescue their younger child.
Police officers visited the spot.
A case has been registered.
