Charu Asopa opens up on her broken marriage with Rajeev Sen, shares scene from Jugjugg Jeeyo

Charu Asopa shared clips from the film Jugjugg Jeeyo, which point out at her broken marriage with Rajeev Sen. The actress filed for a divorce on June 7.

Charu Asopa has been sharing posts on her broken marriage with Rajeev Sen for quite some time now. A few weeks ago, the TV actress filed for a divorce from her estranged husband. Now, the actress shared scenes from Jugjugg Jeeyo where Neetu Kapoor's character Geeta asks for a divorce from her husband Bheem (Anil Kapoor) as she has lost her faith in her husband.

In the scene that Charu Asopa shared, Neetu’s Geeta says, “You never understood the meaning of marriage. Marriages are made out of love and compromises. If there is togetherness and there will also be differences. But in a marriage, if there is no respect and trust, the marriage doesn’t last. And I have lost my faith in you."

Charu Asopa has opened up about her broken marriage by sharing these clips from Jugjugg Jeeyo. She has been quite open about the issues between her and Rajeev in her Vlog. She posts regular updates on her day-to-day life with her daughter Ziana and also shared how she is managing everything along with her child.

Charu recently revealed that Ziana was diagnosed with hand, foot, and mouth disease. She thanked everyone for their wishes and prayers in her latest vlog. She informed that her daughter is on the road to recovery.

Opening up about her decision to separate from Rajeev Sen, Charu Asopra told The Times Of India that she sent a notice to him on June 7 seeking to part ways amicably. However, he replied with another notice levelling accusations against her. The actress said, “I didn’t want to talk about the problems in our marriage, but I have been forced to talk about it now because Rajeev is spreading lies about me, which is damaging to my reputation. Yes, we have taken the legal route to end the marriage and I initiated the process.”

Charu, who shares daughter Ziana with Rajeev, says there is ‘nothing left’ in their marriage anymore. “Everyone knows that we have been having problems in our marriage for the past three years, since the time we tied the knot. But I kept giving him chances. Earlier, it was for me and then for our daughter, Ziana. Par woh ek chance dete dete teen saal kab nikal gaye mujhe kuch pata nahi chala (But I don't know how giving yet another chance led to three years of this). He has trust issues and I can't take it anymore. I sent him a simple notice asking for an amicable separation, as there is nothing left in our relationship. I want to part ways because I don't want my daughter to grow up in a toxic and abusive environment. I don't want her to see people hurling abuses at each other,” she said.
