TIRUCHI The central districts on Monday reported 1,804 fresh cases, a sharp dip reported for the first time since the month of May. The number of deaths reported also seemed to be on the decline -- 42 patients succumbed to the viral infection. Tiruchi district reported the highest number of deaths with 11 patients succumbing to the viral infection. Nagapattinam reported nine, while Tiruvarur reported seven. Perambalur district reported six deaths, Ariyalur, four, Thanjavur, three, and Pudukottai, two. No deaths were reported in Karur.More Related News

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
