India is the official ‘Country of Honour’ at the Marche’ Du Film, organised alongside the Cannes Film Festival in France. Indian celebs who are expected to walk the Cannes red carpet have reached the French Riviera. Deepika Padukone, who is also on the Cannes jury, will inaugurate India Pavilion at Marche’ Du Film on Wednesday, May 18, along with Union Minister for I&B, Youth Affairs & Sports, Anurag Thakur.
Deepika Padukone is on jury duty at Cannes 2022. This is a rather prestigious recognition for an Indian celebrity. As per the latest update, Deepika will take part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with Union Minister for I&B, Youth Affairs & Sports, Anurag Thakur. They will inaugurate the India Pavilion at Marche’ Du Film on May 18.
India is the ‘Country of Honour’ at the Marche’ Du Film. Under the 'Country of Honour' title, five new Indian start-ups would be given an opportunity to pitch to the audio-visual industry. Also, India will kick off this week’s programme at Cannes.
