Burra Venkatesham takes charge as TGPSC chairperson after M. Mahender Reddy's retirement, previously served as special chief secretary.
Burra Venkatesham assumed charge as chairperson of Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on Thursday (December 5, 2024). He succeeds former DGP M. Mahender Reddy who retired on December 2, 2024 after attaining 62 years. Orders appointing Mr. Venkatesham to the post were issued on November 30, 2024. He was redesignated as special chief secretary on the same day.
Prior to the new assignment, Mr. Venkatesham served as the special chief secretary of Telangana Education department and of the Governor.
