From requesting BTS leader Kim Namjoon to run for President to speculating if The White House would be decorated with purple lights (just like Las Vegas), netizens had a lot to discuss.

Grammy-nominated K-pop boy band BTS is all set to meet US President Joe Biden at the White House on May 31. Biden will host the global K-pop sensations for discussions on anti-Asian hate. And there is no doubt that ARMYs are super proud!

After the official announcement, fans couldn’t stop fawning over how far the group had come since their debut days. While many pointed out how BTS has paved the way for future K-pop groups, others didn’t hold back while gushing about BTS leader Kim Namjoon, also known by his stage name RM.

If you follow BTS regularly, you are probably up to date about the exceptional speech given by Namjoon at the United Nations General Assembly in 2021. For the uninitiated, BTS landed in New York for the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly with the red diplomatic passport, personally handed over to them by the South Korean President, Moon Jae-in.

Now, we don’t need to tell you how big or famous BTS is. What we can show you is how the fans are elated at the group’s success. From requesting Namjoon to run for President to speculating if The White House would be decorated with purple lights (just like Las Vegas), netizens had a lot to discuss.

Here are some of the posts:
