A couple from Brazil dyed a waterfall blue for a gender-reveal party. A video of the same has gone viral online with over 3 million views and has made the internet furious.
There are a plethora of videos on the internet nowadays, featuring absolutely lavish gender-reveal parties. Couples leave no stone unturned to mark the day to reveal the gender of their baby in a special way. However, things turned awry for a couple in Brazil when they reportedly dyed a waterfall blue and contaminated the river for a gender-reveal stunt. A video of the same has gone viral online and has angered netizens all over.
The now-viral video was shared on Twitter by an environmental activist, Vane Costa. The short clip showed the waterfall with a vibrant blue tinge to it due to the dye and blue smoke from party smoke bombs could be seen to indicate that the couple were having a boy. "Seriously, they thought it was a good idea to put dye in a waterfall?! So many ways to make a revelation tea and they managed to choose just one with an environmental impact," reads the caption of the post.

The video garnered over 3 million views and a wave of angry reactions from netizens. Some users even demanded jail for the couple.
