Six bypasses along the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, which is under construction, are expected to be completed by January 2022. The six bypasses at Bidadi, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya and Srirangapatna are expected to provide immediate benefits by reducing commute time between the two cities by at least 45 minutes.More Related News

The Centre has rejected reports that the definition of the Aravalli hills was changed to permit large-scale mining, citing a Supreme Court-ordered freeze on new leases. It said a court-approved framework will bring over 90% of the Aravalli region under protected areas and strengthen safeguards against illegal mining.
