Telangana government increases beer prices by 15% following recommendations from Price Fixation Committee.
Telangana government has issued orders enhancing the prices of beer in the State from Tuesday (February 11, 2025) by 15 per cent.
In a late night order issued by S.A.M. Rizvi, Principal Secretary (Revenue), the Managing Director of Telangana Beverages Corporation Limited has been authorised to implement the Price Fixation Committee recommendations. Retired Justice Jaiswal Committee on price fixation had recommended increasing the MRP on beer by 15 per cent.
Following the Committee recommendation, the MRP hase been increased with effect from Tuesday (February 11, 2025) by 15 percent.
