Bachchhan Paandey box office collection Day 13: Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon's film declines further

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon's Bachchhan Paandey is not doing great business at the box office. The film was released on March 18.

Bachchhan Paandey starring Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon has not been doing great at the box office. In the film, Akshay Kumar will be essaying the role of a gangster who wants to be an actor, and Kriti Sanon will be playing a journalist who aspires to be a film director. Released on March 18, the film opened to mixed reviews.

Akshay Kumar has delivered his first flop after many years with Bachchan Panday. The film opened to a slow start and could not even earn Rs 50 crore in the first week.

On day 13, the film did average business at the box office. It faced stiff competition from The Kashmir Files and RRR.

Bachchhan Paandey is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and written by Nischay Kuttanda and director Farhad Samji. Besides Akshay, Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon, the film also features Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Daabbi and Saharsh Kumar Shukla. Bachchhan Paandey was earlier set to premiere on December 25, 2020. However, the release date was pushed and Farhad Samji’s directorial will now release theatrically on March 18, 2022. The story revolves around an aspiring director (Kriti) who wants to make a film on a deadly gangster (Akshay).
