An elephant calf was rescued by wildlife officials after he accidentally fell into a reservoir and struggled to walk out of it. Parveen Kaswan of the Indian Forest Services tweeted the short clip on Sunday and it has gone viral with over 67,000 views so far. Kiddo fell into reservoir from where water was being supplied to village. Territorial team, wildlife squad II & vet team reached on time. Was rescued & happily united with family. As seen in the video, the elephant made every attempt to climb out of the reservoir as forest officials planned the rescue mission. Thereafter, with the help of sticks and ropes, the territorial team and wildlife squad, managed to pull the elephant out of the reservoir. A team of veterinarians was also present at the location to tend to the elephant.More Related News
