Mothers can go to any extent to keep their baby safe and this viral video is a glaring proof of that notion. Shared on Twitter by IAS officer Supriya Sahu, the video of a mother elephant saving her baby from a crocodile has gone viral.
The video starts with a shot of a crocodile snapping at the baby elephant and attacking it. The reptile can be seen biting the baby’s trunk tightly. However, within seconds, the mother elephant arrives and stomps on the beast in the swamp until it lets go of the baby.

The clip has garnered over 36k views and tons of reactions. While some couldn’t stop lauding the courage of the mother elephant, others wrote about how the video is proof of a mother’s pure love.
“Incredible save,” wrote a Twitter user. “Poor baby. He must be terrified,” commented another. “Don’t mess with the mother,” said a third.
