A nail-biting video from South Africa’s iSimangaliso Wetland Park has gone viral on social media. The video captures the exact moment an angry elephant flipped over an SUV while a family of four was still inside it. The video was recorded by a car that stood just behind them, scared and honking all the while to distract the tusker. The video was uploaded on a YouTube channel named Zululand Observer on January 16 and has over 7,000 views.
In the now-viral video, an elephant can be seen in the middle of the road pushing a car with its trunk and then flipping it over. This happened while the car had four passengers inside - a mother and father with their two children aged 8 and 10. It was not just satisfied after flipping the car, it kept on pushing it out of the way. After a while, the elephant left the spot. Some rangers arrived there to rescue the occupants of the car, Daily Mail reports. They were summoned by calls from the following car who had also recorded the video.
