On Tuesday, Anand Mahindra, Mahindra Group Chairman, shared a heartwarming video of a dying mama chimpanzee who recognises her old friend, a professor, who took care of her a long time ago. Anand Mahindra was left teary-eyed after watching this video which was initially shared by The Epoch Times. Damn. Made me tear up. Clearly, we’ve evolved in the wrong direction... pic.twitter.com/rKR8sOX8yy Brilliant Oh my, how touching (yes, I'm crying)! Did that poor mama chimp spend her life in captivity? How awesome that she and her friend Jan could reunite. At least that made her happy! Life has became so mean minded now it seems. Clearly we have evolved in wrong direction. God help us .. Even if we try hard to get such kindness and empathy now a days. Beautiful and heartbreaking Very touching clip... it is the BOND that is important... be it between human and animal... or 2 humans In the 2 minute 20 seconds long video, a chimpanzee realising that her end is near is seen refusing to eat and drink anything. Professor Jan van Hooff, who took care of the chimp during her initial days, comes to visit after hearing about her condition. The chimp eventually recognises her old friend and her face immediately lights up. The chimpanzee’s smile on recognising her old friend is just priceless. Later, she even accepts food from Jan. The video has over 90,000 views. Sharing the video Anand Mahindra wrote, “Damn. Made me tear up. Clearly, we’ve evolved in the wrong direction... (sic).”More Related News
