Amul pays emotional tribute to Lata Mangeshkar with a monochrome doodle

India's Nightingale, Lata Mangeshkar was cremated with full state honours on Sunday evening, February 6, at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Amul India has now paid an emotional tribute to her.

Amul India never fails to win hearts. As India lost its most iconic voice on February 6 with Lata Mangeshkar's death, the popular dairy brand paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary singer that will make you emotional. They shared a monochrome doodle on social media that is now going viral. Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92. She was cremated with full state honours.

The entire nation was left mourning for Lata Mangeshkar who touched the hearts of millions. Amul also paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary singer by sharing a monochromatic doodle. It shows three sketched figures of Lata Mangeshkar, each from three different phases of her life. In one, she is seen singing with a mic stand. In another, she has a veena in her hands. The third image is a framed picture of a young Lata. On top of the pic, the tagline reads, "Hum jahan jahan chalega aapka saaya saath hoga," in reference to one of her famous songs, Tu Jahan Jahan Chalega Mera Saaya Saath Hoga from the 1966 cult classic Mera Saaya.

In her seven-decade-long career, Lata Mangeshkar gave us musical gems such as Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo, Lag Jaa Gale, Yeh Kahan Aagaye Hain Hum and Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, among others. For her exceptional talent, she was honoured with countless awards, including the Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
