Ajith Kumar is gearing up for the release of AK 61, one of the most talked-about movies of the year. Now, in an exciting development, the makers have revealed that the biggie is titled Thunivu. The team also shared its first look poster. It features Ajith Kumar in an uber-cool new avatar. Thunivu is an action-thriller, directed by H Vinoth. This will be Ajith's third film with the director after Valimai (2022) and Nerkonda Paarvai (2019.

Ajith Kumar garnered attention with his performance in Valimai, which opened to a thunderous response at the box office earlier this year. The film became a rage months before its release, something that helped it emerge as a blockbuster. Ajith is now back with AK 61. The makers today, September 21, revealed that it is titled Thunivu. The producers also shared its first look poster. It is a massy affair that does justice to Ajith's larger-than-life reel image.
Thunivu is an action-thriller that features Ajith Kumar in a new avatar. The actor is reportedly set to play a character with shades of grey in the biggie. Thunivu features Manju Warrier as the leading lady. This is the Malayalam actress' second Tamil movie after the Dhanush-led Asuran (2019). Major portions of Thunivu have been shot in Hyderabad and Chennai. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor. He, interestingly, had served as the producer from Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai as well.
Thunivu comes at a time when Ajith is going through a busy phase on the front. He is likely to collaborate with Vignesh Shivan for AK 62. The film may feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the leading lady. There's, however, no confirmation regarding the same.
