The disruption of services was reported in major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, and others.
Airtel users all across the country reported issues with their broadband and mobile connections on Friday. Users complained that their broadband stopped working suddenly. Moreover, they were also not able to make or receive calls from their mobile phones.
“Our internet services had a brief disruption and we deeply regret the inconvenience this may have caused you. Everything is back as normal now, as our teams keep working to deliver a seamless experience to our customers,” Airtel India said in a statement released on Twitter.
