However, Divya recently took everyone by shock when she announced her break-up with Varun. The actress took to her official Instagram handle and penned a long note about their split. After she posted the note, a lot of netizens questioned Varun's character and stated that his alleged love affair with Madhurima Roy was the reason behind his split with Divya. Now, the reality show contestant has come out in his defense.
Divya Agarwal took to her Twitter handle and quashed all the rumours of Varun's love-affair with Madhurima Roy as the reason behind their break-up.
"Dare any one say anything about Varun’s character.. not every separation happens because of character! He is an honest man! It’s my decision to be alone. No one has the right to speak anything rubbish! It takes a lot of strength to take decisions like these in life! Respect (sic)," she tweeted.

On Sunday, March 6, Divya left her fans shocked after she announced break-up with Varun. In a long note on Instagram, the Bigg Boss OTT winner wrote, "Life is such a circus! Try to keep everyone happy, expect nothing that’s true but what happens when self love starts declining ?? No, I don’t blame anyone for anything that’s happening to me.. I feel worked up .. and that’s okay .. I want to breathe and live for myself...that’s okay! (sic)."
