HIT The Second was supposed to open in theatres on July 29 but that did not happen as Adivi Sesh was busy with Major. The actor has now announced that the film will finally be released in theatres on December 2. He also shared a poster to pique the curiosity of fans.

HIT The Second is a crime-thriller, scripted and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. It features Adivi Sesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead. The cast includes Bhanu Chander, Rao Ramesh, and Posani Krishna Murali, among others. HIT The Second Case is produced by Nani. It is a sequel to the Vishwak Sen-led Hit The First Case, which emerged as a success. The Natural Star once revealed that he replaced Vishwak with Adivi Sesh to keep the franchise 'concept oriented".

"We thought, let's go with a franchise which is concept oriented rather than a star oriented. We decided to start the second part in Andhra Pradesh, so we needed a different officer, to play the role," he had told Outlook
