A.P. reports 20 deaths, over 6,000 new COVID cases

Nearly 30,000 cases reported in the last one week
In line with the rapid rise in the incidence of infections across the country, the State reported 20 deaths due to COVID-19 and 6,096 new infections in the 24 hours ending Friday morning. The daily tally increased by 1,000 infections in just a day as 5,086 cases were reported on Thursday. It was the highest single-day tally six and a half months since October 4, and the daily death toll was highest since October 25. In the past one week, the State reported 29,634 infections and 94 deaths.More Related News

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
