Russia-Ukraine war news update: Two people were killed and several others were injured after an airstrike damaged 10 residential buildings in the Zhytomyr city of Ukraine.
Two people were killed and three were injured after an airstrike damaged 10 private residential buildings in Zhytomyr, a city in the north of the western half of Ukraine.
The airstrike took place around 10:16 pm on March 1, according to Ukrainian media. While 10 buildings were damaged in the airstrikes, three of them caught fire.

"On March 1, at about 10:16 p.m., as a result of an airstrike, 10 private houses were previously damaged [3 of them caught fire] and windows in the city hospital building were damaged," a statement by the State Emergency Service said, according to a Ukrainian news agency.
"Two people were killed and three were injured. There are probably people in the rubble of damaged private houses," the statement read.
Meanwhile, another report said, "Rescuers are searching for potential survivors following an airstrike in the Ukrainian city of Zhytomyr."
