Several brands, including food aggregators like Swiggy and Zomato, have reacted to Elon Musk's Twitter takeover with pretty quirky posts.
After long, long speculation which continued for weeks, Tesla boss Elon Musk now entirely owns Twitter. Musk acquired 100 per cent stake in Twitter for approximately $44 billion (around $54.20 per share). Once the deal is complete, Twitter will again be a private company, wholly owned by Musk. It is expected that the deal will close by the end of 2022. Now, several brands, including food aggregators like Swiggy and Zomato have reacted to this takeover with pretty quirky posts.

Meanwhile, Swiggy had the most desi response to Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover. After a successful takeover, mithai toh banti hai boss! Now, that is the most Indian thing ever. Swiggy posted a meme that shows what Musk bought after Twitter. Some motichoor laddo and kaju katli, of course.
