
Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X price leak hints at how much they may cost in India

The Xiaomi 12 is tipped to launch next month in the global market. It could be priced between EUR 800 and EUR 900 (approximately Rs 68,300 to Rs 76,800).
The Xiaomi 12 series is expected to launch globally in March this year. The company first unveiled the devices in China in December 2021. It is now said to bring the new Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X smartphones to the global market and then to Indian shores. A report from MySmartPrice also suggests what could be the prices of the Xiaomi 12 series in Europe.
The cited source says that the Xiaomi 12 could be priced between EUR 800 and EUR 900 (approximately Rs 68,300 to Rs 76,800). The Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, is said to cost between EUR 1000 to EUR 1200 (approximately Rs 85,400 to Rs 1,02,500). The devices might be offered with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage option. The Xiaomi 12X could be priced between EUR 600 to EUR 700 (approximately Rs 51,200 to Rs 59,800).
In China, the Xiaomi 12 series was launched with a starting price of CNY 3,699 (around Rs 43,400). The India prices are expected to be in a similar price range. It should be noted that Xiaomi hasn’t yet confirmed the global or India launch date of the Xiaomi 12 series. So, users are advised to take the details with a pinch of salt.
To recall, the Xiaomi 12 and its Pro version were launched in China with a flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The same chip is also powering the OnePlus 10 Pro and the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
The standard version has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 12 Pro features a slightly bigger battery. It packs a 4,600mAh unit that has support for 120W fast wired charging. Both the devices have a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. But, the rear camera setup is different on these smartphones.
The regular Xiaomi 12 model has three cameras at the back, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS support. It is paired with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, also carries a triple rear camera setup, but houses a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX707 wide-angle sensor with OIS support. It is assisted by a 50-megapixel portrait sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter.
