
OnePlus Nord 6 with 9,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 launching in India on April 7

OnePlus has announced the launch date of the OnePlus Nord 6. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and will be available in three colour options.
OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus Nord 6, expanding its mid-range Nord lineup. The device will succeed the OnePlus Nord 5, which debuted last year. The company has also released a microsite on Amazon, revealing key specifications along with the April 7 launch date. This also suggests that the smartphone will be available on the platform in three colour options: Fresh Mint, Holographic Quick Silver, and Pitch Black.
The OnePlus Nord 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It is expected to come with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also feature a G2 Wi-Fi chip and support advanced 5G connectivity.
On the display front, the handset will sport a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. It is claimed to offer up to 1,800 nits of high brightness mode (HBM) and a peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits. The device is also said to support sustained 165FPS gameplay in titles such as BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile, and Free Fire.
OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord 6 will pack a massive 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, paired with an 80W SUPERVOOC charging. The company claims the battery can deliver more than two days of usage on a single charge.
In terms of design, the smartphone will feature a rectangular camera module housing a dual-camera setup along with an LED flash.
Following the launch, the OnePlus Nord 6 will be available for purchase via Amazon, the OnePlus India website, and the OnePlus Store app. Pricing details are expected to be revealed at the launch event.
