A trainee pilot of a private aviation training institute was killed when her aircraft crashed near Thungathurthy village of Peddavoora mandal in Nalgonda district Saturday around 11.30 a.m.
The aircraft came crashing down in the fields between Chelakurthi and Thungathurthy village limits.
Local police confirmed recovering the body of the female pilot died in the crash. The victim has been identified as Mahima, a native of Tamil Nadu.
The chopper belongs to Hyderabad-based Flytech Aviation Academy. It also has an operations institute at Nagarjunasagar in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, bordering Nalgonda, from where the carrier took off.
