Water pipeline leak causes traffic congestion and waterlogging in Miyapur, Hyderabad, prompting detours and delays for commuters.
Commuters in Miyapur of Hyderabad were in for delays on Tuesday (March 24, 2026) morning after waterlogging disrupted traffic movement near Miyapur X Road following a leakage in the Manjeera water pipeline.
According to Miyapur Traffic police, the leakage occurred in front of the Tata Motors stretch, leading to water accumulation on the road. The police diverted traffic to the opposite carriageway, with only a single lane operational, causing slow movement in the area.
The Cyberabad Traffic Police also issued an alert warning of congestion near B.K. Enclave towards the Miyapur Bus Depot from Bachupally junction. Motorists were advised to expect delays and plan alternate routes where possible.
Traffic personnel were deployed to manage the flow, while efforts are underway to address the issue with the pipeline and clear the waterlogging.
