A woman ordered food delivery to her office, and then proceeded to ask the delivery boy for an unexpected favour that triggered discussions on unfair exploitation in India's gig economy.
A woman ordered food to her office, but stopped the delivery boy just as he was about to leave. She then proceeded to make a weird request to him, which left both him and social media users equally baffled.
The story was shared by content creator Golden Anand on X. In his post, he framed the incident as a clever life hack, writing, “Food order was just an excuse... Madam smartly arranged her ride too."
In the post, Anand narrated that the woman had placed a food order not just to get her meal delivered, but also to secure transport.
According to the exchange described, the delivery rider first confirmed that he had picked up her order and was on the way. Shortly after, the woman reportedly asked him to wait for a minute.
When he enquired what had happened, she told him that she would be coming along as well, explaining that her office had ended suddenly and asking if he could drop her off along with delivering the food.
The rider appeared surprised at first but seemed to understand the situation. Realising that the order might have been placed partly to arrange a ride, he agreed, telling her to collect her order and get on the bike.

Leon Panetta said Iran war was not an unexpected risk. He pointed out that for years, US security officials have known Iran could disrupt global oil supplies by blocking the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, this was a well-known danger, but one that appears to have been overlooked in the current conflict.
