Windows 11 release date may be in October, Microsoft drops a big hint
India Today
Microsoft had said that the Windows 11 release would take place during holidays this year.
Although it announced the release during the holiday season, Microsoft dropped a big hint at an October release of Windows 11. During the Windows 11 event that took place earlier this month, Microsoft teased that Windows 11 could arrive sometime in October. And the biggest hint was the Microsoft Teams message -- as a part of the presentation -- saying “excited to turn it up to 11 can’t wait for October!” And to give more clarity, most of Microsoft’s press images for Windows 11 show the release could happen on October 20. The Microsoft Teams message that joyously teases October could be the release month for Window 11 is from Stevie Bathiche, who is a key part of the engineering team for Surface devices. The message was sent to Panos Panay, head of Windows and Devices at Microsoft. Now, there are a couple of things that people are assuming right now with that hint. It is very likely to be when Windows 11 is released to everyone. But, at the same time, it could be when new Surface devices arrive later this year. Or it could be for both -- the Windows 11 release and the launch of new Surface PCs, laptops, and convertibles.
Samsung has been teasing its upcoming A-series devices since last week, without officially revealing their names. While speculation has largely pointed to the Galaxy A37 and A57, a lengthy video recently surfaced ahead of any official confirmation, revealing the key specs and pricing of the devices.
