WhatsApp is likely to introduce some design changes for the Android app. The messaging app is testing some design changes for the Android app in the beta version according to WaBetaInfo, the features tracker. The report noted that WhatsApp’s changes are reflected in the chat list of the app. The report notes that the change will not be a major design overhaul for the WhatsApp app but a small UI change for the messaging platform. WhatsApp’s updated design will not show separator lines between chat cells on its chat list. This means when beta users open WhatsApp, the first page on the app which shows your latest chats with contacts and groups will not have the separator lines between contact names. WhatsApp is rolling out the change for beta users and will be available for users with WhatsApp web releases or stable versions from Google Play Store. According to the report, the feature is expected to roll out for Android users soon.
