Current water levels in Periyar and Vaigai dams, with inflow and discharge rates, below permissible and maximum levels.
The water level in Periyar dam on Thursday was 128.70 feet (permissible level 142 ft) with an inflow of 725 cusecs and a discharge of 1100 cusecs. The water level in Vaigai dam was 64.47 ft (maximum level 71 ft) with an inflow of 725 cusecs and a discharge of 1100 cusecs.
